They took their team out with us

No room, no stopwatch, no winner decided in advance. The team walks through Paris for an hour with a guide, stops at observation points and discovers together what stood there before. The binoculars are not a closed headset: you raise them, look, lower them, and the conversation picks up again. That is what makes it a group activity rather than a set of individual experiences.
Everyone can take part, whatever their age or fitness. The one-hour format fits into an offsite, an incentive, an onboarding day or an after-work slot. And every reconstruction is built from archives and validated by historians: the team leaves with real stories to tell.
No minimum, and up to 400 participants. Each guide leads 20 people at most so everyone is comfortable, and several guides set off at the same time. For 20, 30, 40, 50 or 100 people, the principle is the same.
20 people
A single group with its own guide. One hour together in Paris, then a drink or lunch nearby.
40 people
The team splits into two groups that set off at the same time, each with its own guide. Everyone lives the same hour and can compare what they saw.
100 people
Five groups at once or in staggered departures, on the Seine riverbanks, at the Champ-de-Mars or both. The format for an offsite or an incentive.
400 people
That is what we did for RATP: 400 employees in a single day, with several guides at once and departures spread over the day.
Budget based on the group rate of €23.33 per person excl. VAT (€28 incl. VAT), private session, welcome and guides included. The quote sets out slots and options.
Banks of the Seine, Paris 4th
A 1.2 km walk along the Right Bank, facing Île Saint-Louis. At each stop, the same landscape in another era: Lutetia, the Viking siege, the building of Notre-Dame, the frozen Seine, the 1910 flood. The pick for a team that enjoys walking and wants two thousand years in one go.
Champ-de-Mars, Paris 7th
A walk in 15 scenes around the Eiffel Tower: Gustave Eiffel’s workshops, the construction site, the 1889 World’s Fair, the Roaring Twenties, the Resistance. The pick for hosting colleagues from abroad, or for a team that has never taken the time to really look at the Tower.
Headcount, two or three possible dates, the site you prefer and the team’s language. That is all we need.
Number of groups and guides, time slot, options and a quote. For private groups, slots run from 9 am to 8 pm, every day of the week.
The chosen slot and the company’s billing address, by return email.
Welcome at the meeting point, then a dedicated team of guides accompanies each group for the whole hour. Nothing for you to manage on site.
Timescope also designs bespoke immersive experiences for museums, cities and companies such as Kering and Galeries Lafayette: see the projects.
There is no minimum, and we host up to 400 participants. Each guide leads 20 people at most, so everyone enjoys the stops, and several guides set off at the same time. For 40 people, two guides; for 100, five, at once or in staggered departures, on one or two sites. That is how we hosted 400 RATP employees in a single day.
The group rate is €23.33 per person excluding VAT (€28 incl. VAT). It covers a private session with a personal welcome and a dedicated team of guides. As a guide: €467 excl. VAT for 20 people, €933 for 40, €2,333 for 100. Options (quiz, group photo) are detailed in the quote.
One hour per group. Since several guides set off at the same time, 40 or 60 people can do the activity within the same hour. It slots easily into an offsite or incentive day, before lunch or at the end of the working day.
There is no physical challenge and nothing to perform. Our “binoculars” are not a closed headset: you hold them up to your eyes at observation points, standing still, and stay outdoors with the others, with no dizziness or motion sickness. They work with most prescription glasses. If a colleague has reduced mobility, let us know: the Origins of Paris route follows developed riverbanks, flat over 1.2 km.
For private groups we are far more flexible than with public slots: from 9 am to 8 pm, every day, Monday and Tuesday included. An after-work session works very well. Write to us early, it is the surest way to get the date you want.
Yes, and languages can be mixed within the same group: everyone follows the experience in French, English or Spanish, alongside their colleagues. Handy for an international team.
The activity takes place outdoors and runs in most weather. In exceptional conditions sessions can be rescheduled: let us know and we will find a solution.
An escape room locks the team in a room against the clock. Here you go outside: one hour outdoors, in Paris, on the very sites where events happened. Nobody is put on the spot, and the optional quiz keeps a playful edge for those who want it.
