Overview
TimeScope is a powerful, flexible, and easy to use timesheet and project tracking solution. A single TimeScope implementation can support unlimited organizations, from departments within a company, to teams within departments. Further, TimeScope can be configured to separately meet the varied requirements of multiple departments within a company, while providing enterprise wide data consolidation and reporting.
Time Tracking. TimeScope features a highly customizable timesheet that records employee time spent on projects and non-projects. The timesheet can configured to also track activities, pay codes, work orders, document codes, or any textual or multiple choice items. Automatic email alerts can be generated for submitted, missing, incomplete, rejected, or approved timesheets. Employee timesheets can be approved and locked to prevent subsequent modification. All aspects of time tracking, including time entry rules, approval, submittal, financial policy, and email notification can be tailored to suit a broad spectrum of varied requirements.
Project Management. TimeScope tracks unlimited numbers of projects and subprojects (tasks), which may be created within TimeScope, or imported from external sources. You can also track activities (types of work). Projects, or specific tasks within projects, can be assigned to employees for time and expense reporting. Assignment objectives can be conveyed to employees via the timesheet, and task completion percentage can be reported by them. Project leaders can be granted approval rights to time and expenses posted to their projects. Budgets and estimates can be established for organizations, projects, or tasks, and monitored with automatic email alerts at any percentage of actual to budget. The powerful Explore features lets managers drill down through organizations and projects to view resource utilization, costs, billing, profitability, and budget variances at any level of detail. Reporting functionality is specially enhanced for project management.
Costing and Billing. TimeScope fully accommodates labor cost tracking and client billing. Labor rates by any combination of employee, project, department, client, activity, job title, and cost center ensure accurate financial calculation for both salaried and hourly employees. Fixed fee billing by project or milestone is also supported, as is overhead costing. Cost tracking, billing, and profitability are communicated via flexible reporting, real-time management inquiry, and data export.
Reporting. More than one hundred reports are included with TimeScope, all of which are fully modifiable. The integrated report writer lets you print time and cost data sorted and totaled by any combination or cross section of organizations, projects, tasks, activities, employees, cost centers, clients, job titles, or any other standard or custom data entities. A report wizard lets you quickly create timesheet style reports, billing reports, project management reports, employee reports, and other types of reports. The report writer enables project rollup and summarization at any level of granularity, and fully supports indented outline style reporting. Reports can be printed, previewed, emailed, or saved as CSV, Excel, or HTML files. For security purposes, reports can be organized into folders accessible only to specific categories of users.
Other Features. TimeScope also includes expense tracking, a customizable database, and integrated data exchange tools for exchanging data with spreadsheets, accounting systems, payroll systems, project management software, and other applications. User roles, and other security features are exceptional, allowing complete control of user menu command sets, data access rights, and reporting.
